If you are interested you can trace their footsteps in the cities where they were born, flourished and died. Even if you are not particularly interested in Dutch masters there is plenty on offer about their non-dutch colleagues. Boijmans van Beuningen in Rotterdam, Bonnefanten museum in Maastricht, Van Abbe museum in Maastricht, just to name a few. One of our personal favorites is Kröller-Müller Museum, with big collection of Van Goghs and other impressionists as well as an extensive sculpture garden. The museum itself is located in the largest natural park of the Netherlands.
